Saturday 5th November –
This weekend sees the Firsts as the only senior team with a fixture. It is however, a local derby against Highworth Town Res 2.15pm KO at the Elms Rec. Highworth currently sit 2nd in the league on goal difference, results so far are played 10, won 6, drawn 1, lost 3. Town will need to improve on recent results to push their local rivals this week. Performances have been up and down recently having only won once in the last six games and picking up just a single point against Clanfield 85 Res. The Don lost last week to a strong Flackwell Heath Res team in the Chairmans Cup. An improved second half, scoring 2 goals will hopefully have gained a little confidence for the boys. Unfortuneatly the first half saw Flackwell run riot scoring 6 goals!
