Monday 23rd December 2013 – We have today received notification from the Vale of the White Horse District Council that our plans to improve our changing facilities and clubhouse have been approved. Full details are here.

The Football Club Committee are pleased to advise that a planning application to improve our facilities has been sent on our behalf by Tom Gristwood Architects to The Vale of the White Horse District Council.
We now await their decision and if approved, the application will allow the club to have four purpose built changing rooms, tow of which meet the required standard to move up the FA football pyramid. With two officials changing rooms, female officials will be able to attend club fixtures.
The changes will then see clubhouse internals being moved, which we hope will see a more useable space with the relocation of the bar area, toilets and kitchen, plus a large patio area to enjoy those summer months.
So this is a major step forward for the club which will need all it’s players, members and supporters offer their help when requested to attend fundraising events. The committee are committed to providing all footballers in the town with the best facilities possible and with help from grants, this is a massive project, requiring major funding.
