Faringdon Football Club, Weekend Preview 14/1/17 –

With no First team action again this week, its left to the Reserves and A-Team to entertain us this weekend.

The Reserves travel to Sutton Courtenay for a true 6-pointer. The two teams previous game ended 3-3 at Tucker Park, back in Novemeber. Sutton gained their first win last weekend again North Oxford, this helped them swap positions at the bottom the table. Kieron Kirby, got their 2 goals in a 2-1 victory. By contrast the Ressers lost 5-0 to championship contenders Steventon. 2pm KO – away

The A-Team are home to league leaders Wallingford Town AFC A. With the A’s game postponed last week due to Didcot Eagle being unable to filed a team, this will be their 1st game since the beginning of December. Wallingford were in League Cup action, beating Sutton Courtenay Reserves 6-2. 2pm KO – home

Faringdon Town Youth Section

This will be our new FTFC U10 Blue teams first game, also the 1st time we’ve had 2 teams in the same age group at FTFC. Good luck to all involved.
