Three league ties are scheduled at Tucker Park on Easter Saturday, with kick off’s at 12:30, 14:30 and 15:00, weather dependent!!!
12:30 – Town A v Aston Reserves
14:30 – The Don v Kingsdown FC Development
15:00 – Town Devs v FC Mills
The Don welcome Kingsdown FC Development to Tucker Park on Saturday, in a game which was cancelled two weeks ago due to Kingsdown unfortunately being unable to raise a side. Kick off in this Corsham Print Wiltshire Senior League Division One tie is 14:30.
The two sides have not yet met this season and sit at either end of the division, but will come into the game full of confidence after their wins last Saturday. The visitors sit thirteenth in the fourteen team league and trounced eleventh placed Lambourn Sports 8-1 for their fourth league victory of the season. Alongside those victories, they have one drawn tie and experienced defeat sixteen times from twenty one games, scoring thirty-seven and conceding sixty-nine goals along the way, totaling thirteen points. The young Kingsdown Dev squads leading goalscorer is Harrison Jordan with six from nine league games.
The Don maintained their second place position with an injury time winner from Harry Timbrell at Kintbury Rangers Reserves last Saturday. In something of a smash and grab performance, The Don lost keeper Jack Gibson to injury midway through the first half to a late challenge, which meant substitute Adam ‘Titch’ Rudman donned the gloves for the remainder of the game. Rangers were in control for the majority of the ninety minutes on a heavy Inkpen Road pitch and the Don went behind early in the second half when we failed to clear a corner twice and Rudman was unable to reach a well struck fifteen yard drive. However, despite Rangers continued dominance of the ball, they never really tested Rudman any further. With twenty minutes remaining, Luke Smith grabbed an equaliser with a well hit shot off the post, before Timbrell made the breakthrough smashing through challenges from defenders and the keeper, firing into an empty net for the winner in the 94th minute.
The victory saw The Don maintain second position in the division, two points adrift of leaders Park Utd and four ahead of third placed Marlborough Town.

Town Devs are the late kick off in Hartwell sponsored Witney & District League Division Two, when FC Mills travel to Tucker Park for a 15:00 kick off.
The Devs experienced a mauling from potential league winners Moreton Rangers Reserves last weekend, as they inflicted sweet revenge for the reverse fixture defeat earlier in the season, winning 9-1 at Tucker Park. The leagues leading goalscorer Lee Brooks notched his 30th goal of the season, whilst completing a hat-trick. Town were never in the game and will be looking to put this performance behind them.
When Town travelled to FC Mills at the end of September, Mills took the three points with a 4-2 victory despite goals from Jamie Arlott and player-manager Robbie Harrington. Despite this victory though, Mills are currently sitting in sixth position in the table, fourteen points adrift of Town Devs having played the same number of games. Their twenty-three points have been collected from six victories, five draws and eight defeats, scoring thirty-nine and conceding fifty-three. Last weekend, the visitors collected a 5-0 victory over Milton-under Wychwood, so will have gained some confidence after recent heavy defeats to Moreton and CHQ Utd. Morgan James with seven goals from seventeen games appears the man to watch.

The A Team were also on the end of a heavy defeat last Saturday, when they travelled back from Heyford Athletic Reserves in a Hartwell sponsored Witney & District League Division Three with a 7-0 defeat. This Saturday, they kick off at 12:30 with Aston Reserves the visitors for this league tie.
Aston have hopes of promotion and currently sit three points outside of the two promotion places in third position with a game in hand on second placed Carterton Town. Having gained thirty-seven points from eighteen games, with twelve victories, one drawn match and five defeats, scoring sixty times and conceding thirty-two. One of those five defeats came in the reverse fixture during October, when Town A came out on top in an eight goal thriller 3-5. Double strikes from Justin Yates and Chris Rutt, plus a fifth from Andrew Cook took home the points.
The visitors main goal threat is Reece Waine who has collected thirteen goals so far this season, from fourteen league games, supported by Tom Merchant with eight from twelve.
