The Don will be looking to maintain their current run of goals and good form, as they travel the Swindon to face Stratton Juniors in the Corsham Print Wiltshire League Division One. The fixture has been rearranged, following the original fixture with Park United being postponed due to their County Cup involvement.
Town have been in unstoppable form the last couple of weeks, with convincing victories over Purton FC (Cup 7-2) and Shrivenham Devs (League 8-0). The goals have been spread around the squad with five players in the top twenty Division One goal-scorers. Leading the way is Kyle Bowyer who after a barren spell, has found the net five times in the last two fixtures, Jamie Broadfield helped himself to a hat-trick last weekend, whilst Adam Sly, Jamie Tuck, Liam Hares, Matt Pill, George James, Pete Fletcher and Ray Lovell found the back of the net with a goal apiece.
However, despite all these goal-scorers in the Town squad, they will come up against the division-leading hotshot on Saturday as they travel to St Lukes Academy Faringdon to St Lukes Academy – Google Maps for this 14:00 kick-off. Corey Cullen leads the scoring charts with seventeen goals in fifteen Stratton Juniors appearances, including two against The Don when the sides met at Tucker Park at the end of August, where Town ran out easy 5-2 winners. Cullen has scored all his goals in the league campaign and accounts for most of the sides’ twenty-five league goals.
The Don as league leaders, will be hoping to take advantage of Park Utd’s cup commitments and open the gap at the top of the division to eight points with a victory on Saturday and continue their fine run of form. Juniors are currently languishing in fourteenth position and will be wanting to cause a shock result and help their relegation fight.

The Devs tie with Milton under Wychwood Reserves last weekend was postponed due to the home side not being able to raise a squad and therefore gifting Town the three points. This meant their have managed to stay within touching distance of the three sides above them as they sit in fourth position on twenty-one points of the Witney & District League Division Two table.
This Saturday, the squad is at home and will be on their toes as seventh-positioned Siege FC make the short journey from Bampton sitting on thirteen points, but with two games in hand on Town. Siege have so far had an up-and-down season, with four victories and four defeats and managed to claim a hard-fought draw last weekend with a 4-4 draw on the road at CHQ Utd. Having scored twenty-six times and conceded twenty-one, goals should be on offer. The visitors’ main striking threat will be Chris Hirons who has found the net nine times in eight appearances so will give the Town backline something to think about. Kick-off at Tucker Park is 14:00.

The A’s managed to claim their first point for several weeks, as they claimed a workmanlike draw on the road to basement side Leafield Reserves. This weekend, eleventh placed Town will be hoping to draw level on points with visitors Stonesfield Reserves who currently occupy 9th points, three points to the good on eleven points. The Stonesfield side will be visiting hoping to bounce back from a 2-1 away victory to Bampton Utd Reserves last Saturday after a run of four games undefeated. They certainly don’t guarantee goals in their ties, with only fifteen scored and fourteen conceded.
Town will be looking to gain their first home victory of the season after four games with just a single point to show for their efforts. Kick-off at Tucker Park will be 14:15.
