FTFC weren’t at the races today and were well beaten by an organised Hook Norton team.
The match had few clear cut chances but the better team were more clinical in front of goal and deservedly took all three points. On the rare occasion FTFC did play some football they looked threatening but these times were few and far between.
Hook Norton scored their goals in the first half and both came after a pre-longed spell of pressure on the FTFC goal. Joe (Clauson) was unlucky to see a headed chance go wide of the post in the second half and if this had snuck in maybe there would have been an exciting finale but it wasn’t to be and Hook Norton were able to see out their victory.
The one positive for FTFC was between the sticks where Frankie had another good game.
