Dan Knight has revealed the players from our promotion winning 2023/2024 squad who have resigned for our adventure into the Corsham Print Wiltshire Senior League Premier Division.
Welcome back lads!
- Jamie Arlott – Came into the squad midway through last seasons league campaign from the Development squad. His pace was a major asset to the backline from either right of left full-back. – 14 league apps – 0 goals.
- Kyle Bowyer – A major signing for the squad last season, his explosive pace and willingness to work back, meant Bowyer soon proved to be a popular team-mate and fans favourite. – 22 league apps – 14 goals.
- Mitchell Coombes – Another who became available to the squad midway through last season, due to work commitments with Swindon Town FC Community Foundation. Left-footed midfielder who works hard in front of the backline and committed to the season ahead. – 11 league apps – 1 goal.
- Luke Davenport – Last seasons club captain, a colossal at the back and his form during the promotion run in was immense. Trimmed down and proved hard to beat in both penalty areas. Unfortunately, will miss four months of the season through work commitments – 20 league apps – 2 goals.
- Pete Fletcher – Unlucky to find himself regularly on the bench last season. His left foot delivery is difficult to stop at this level and has relished the Dan Knight way during pre-season. – 20 league apps – 2 goals.
- Josh Forth – Forthy has been with the club from the youth setup. Scored numerous headed goals last term and will be important to the formation this term in the No. 4 position. – 22 leage apps – 6 goals.
- Jack Gibson – Previous manager, Nicky Smith’s choice for Managers Player of the Year. A mainstay of the side with some excellent shot stopping from The Don No. 1. Will act as Vice-Captain this season. – 24 league apps – 0 goals.
- George James – Gorgeous George spent most of last season bench warming, but showed his skillset and work-rate as the season came to a close. He will be looking to cement a place in the midfield this season. – 20 league apps – 2 goals
- Ray Lovell – Recently announced skipper for this season, Lovell was ever-present in our promotion league campaign. Talks his fellow players through games and has proven to be a dependable member of the backline. – 24 league apps – 3 goals
- Matthew Pill – The elder statesman of the squad. Pilly still shows a lot of the younger opposition a clean pair of hills and his dead ball delivery helped us score a high percentage of set-piece goals. – 22 league apps – 5 goals
- Adam Rudman – Titch is another who joined midway through last season and mostly helped from the bench. His most notable game was the trip to Kintbury Ranger Reserves, where he came on for the injured Gibbo between the sticks and performed a man of the match performance and the 3 points. – 15 league apps – 1 goal
- Adam Sly – Very pleased to have Sludger back with the club, after losing his mojo after the opening half of the season and gave the game a rest. Scored some valuable goals for the team and will be a major asset this season. – 14 league apps – 7 goals
- Harry Timbrell – Players Player last season, sides failed to cope with his rampaging runs from full back. Will be interesting to see if Knight uses him further up the park this term. – 17 league apps – 2 goals
- Jamie Tuck – Tucky has been persuaded to stay and his performances in pre-season have proven why he is a valuable member of the squad. Tucky gets around the park and notches some spectacular strikes. – 19 league apps – 5 goals.
We have also been informed by the following lads that they will not be returning this season. We thank them for their hardwork last season and wish them well for the season ahead. The door is only on the latch, if they wish to return….

- Harry Platt – Moved on to Shrivenham FC Devs – 6 league apps – 0 goals.
- Luke Smith – Posted to Cyprus with work – 13 league apps – 1 goal.
- Morgan Watts – Posted to Cyprus with work – 7 league apps – 4 goal.
