Following an extensive process, we are delighted to announce Nicky Smith & Chris Homer as Joint First Team Managers for season 2023/24.
The club received excellent interest in the role, the qualifications and previous history of the applicants were outstanding. The club did offer the position to two exceptional candidates, but personal circumstances meant they couldn’t accept the role.
However, following talks this week with Nicky and Chris, they agreed a Joint Manager role could work for them both. Chairman, Simon Harrington and Head of Senior Football, Martin Harries felt the continuation of what was achieved last season, was a massive boost for the club and squad.
Faringdon Town Football Club thanks all the applicants who showed an interest in our club and wish Nicky and Chris all the best for the coming season as they look to take the club forward in our inaugural season in the Corsham Print Wiltshire Senior League Division One.
