Dan Knight has announced his skipper for season 2024/2025 season as the club starts it’s inaugural season in the Corsham Print Wiltshire Senior League Premier Division.
Ray Lovell has been selected to replace outgoing captain Luke Davenport, who will be unavailable for four months of the season, due to work commitments and so, Knight believes Lovell is the ideal replacement.
Lovell has been with the club since the ill fated Covid season of 2021/2022 and has been an influential member of The Don squad, on and off the field. As a left-sided defender, Lovell has proven to be a popular member of the squad and The Don followers and we look forward to watching his leadership blossom.
Knight also announced that both midfielder Josh Forth and goalkeeper Jack Gibson will act as Vice-Captains in supporting Lovell through the season.
