The chase for the Corsham Print Wiltshire Senior League Division One title took another twist at the weekend as league leaders Park Utd were held to a 2-2 home draw by Kintbury Rangers FC Development, whilst the chasing pack of Purton FC, Bratton FC and The Don all collected three points.
The Don started off like a train at Marlborough Town on Saturday, finding themselves 4-0 up within 41 minutes following doubles from Kyle Bowyer and Morgan Watts. The second period was closer as Marlborough grabbed an early second half strike, but soon after Josh Forth preserved the four goal advantage and the scoreline remained 5-1 until the final whistle.

Moving onto tonight, The Don welcome former North Berks Football League neighbours Lambourn Sports to Tucker Park, with a 18:15 KO. We look forward to welcoming them back.
The two sides met in the reverse fixture during an opening month of the season as Town ran out 5-0 victors at Bockhampton Road with doubles from Kyle Bowyer and Jamie Tuck, plus a Liam Hares single strike. Sports have found this season a difficult one with management changes and player unavailability hampering their season, which resulted in a six point deduction earlier in the season.
Currently sitting in eleventh position, Sports will not be taken lightly this evening having picked up seven victories, along with thirteen defeats from their twenty league ties to date. They have found the net thirty-two times and conceded sixty four, with Harry Meeky the main goal threat having scored eight times in eleven ties.
