Faringdon Town – Saturday October 22nd
This weekend Faringdon Town welcome local rivals Clanfield 85 Reserves to Tucker Park. Clanfield, managed by Faringdon duo Chris ‘Wes’ Benson and Martin Harries also have a couple of ex-Don players in their squad. Although sitting bottom of the league and yet to register a point, Clanny will prove difficult opponents in what will be a very competitive match giving the strong links. Clanfield haven’t played for a couple of weeks having lost 4-1 to Oxford City Dev last time out. This is a game both teams will be going all out to win, gain a valuable three points and get the all important bragging rights.
Reserves are without a game this weekend.
The A-Team also have a local derby, with a trip to Uffington Res in NBFL Div 5. Disappointingly the A’s had to cancel their match last week due to a lack of players. Uffy sit bottom of Div 5 on 3 points from their 6 games with the A’s a couples of places higher on 6pts.
Sunday October 23rd
Due to it being half term, there’s only one fixture for our youth section this weekend.
