Town evenly matched Didcot Casuals for 75 minutes but finally wasted their good work to lose 4-1 Town took the lead through Derren Harrington before Casuals equalised, also in the opening half. But the three goals conceded in the final minutes sealed Town’s fate.
The Reserves went to Drayton Reserves after a couple of weeks break in NBFL Division3 and came away with a comfortable 5-1 victory for their first win of the season. The Ressie goalscorers were Rob Lovegrove, Damian Francis, Mark Podbury, James Tyler & Troy Redman.
The A’s played their second NBFL Division 4 West fixture and found themselves 3-0 down within 15 minutes to Ardington Reserves. Nick Wojcik pulled a goal back before half time but the visitors scored a fourth to extend their lead. However, Rupert Collett made it 4-2 before skipper Wojcik scored from the penalty spot and then put a free kick into the top corner for his hat-trick and a 4-4 draw.
