A full weekend of action for the Don this weekend. The First team travel to Carterton, Reserves home to Blewbury and the A-team on the road at Berinsfield Res. Plus a nearly full set of fixtures for the FTFC Youth Section.
After last weeks tough cup game Town faced another tough cup game against old rivals Saxton Rovers. Having played them a couple of months ago in the Thursday Cup and being beaten 6-0 we were looking to show progression.
All three senior teams in action on Saturday, and a full set of youth team fixtures over the weekend. First team away to Hellenic Prem Lydney Town in the cup. Reserves and A-Team both at Tucker Park.
WEEKEND PREVIEW – Saturday 10/12/16 – The Faringdon faithful are without a home fixture to watch for the second week running. With the First team playing Monday evening away to Kidlington Res and the cancellation of the A-Teams fixture, its only the Ressers flying the flag to the Don on Saturday. Saturday 20th August sees Faringdon Town’s Hellenic Div 2 West campaign get underway. Travelling along the A420 to Abingdon Utd Res for a 3pm kick off. Abingdon have one league game under their belt, a close 1-0 loss to Bourton Rovers. The club are excited and looking forward to their new start with the Hellenic League for the 2016/17 season.
