First Team Coach Elliott Day has informed the club that he wishes to focus on his knee injury rehab to get back playing, rather than be involved with coaching the First Team squad. The club would like to thank Elliott for his hard work and attention to detail over the last 3 months and wish him well in his recovery and we look forward to seeing him on the pitch soon.
This now leaves the club short of a First Team Coach and with Physio Charlotte Macfarland soon to return to University, we also require a replacement for her as well.
First Team Coach – we require someone to join and become an active member the management team. Applicants are expected to attend midweek training sessions and home/away fixtures. Player/coaches, where applicable, will be considered. The coach would be expected to take an interest in the development of players throughout the club working alongside other coaches to formulate and implement a coherent and consistent playing style. Financial assistance is available to progress through coaching badge process.
First Team Physio – This opportunity is voluntary and would suit a trainee sports therapist or physiotherapy student looking to build experience within a footballing environment, and would provide the successful candidate with a chance to put the methods they have learnt at university into practice.
Duties would include supporting the first team at training as well as attending home and away fixtures.
