Club Reopening News
With the news from the government that we can reopen from July 4th, the committee has met to discuss how we’re going to move forward.
The decision has been made that we will not reopen straight away on the 4th. We will be reading all the published guidance for a safe re-opening and putting these measures in place with a view to opening in mid-July.
We will keep you informed of dates and guidance once the final plans have been made. Safety of all our members is paramount, so we won’t be rushing!!
Senior training is set to resume on July 7th. A full health and safety plan is in place, with social distancing guidelines being strictly followed. There will be 2 sessions, 6-7.15pm and 7.45-9.00pm. The is to reduce the number of people at the club at one time and allow us to disinfect the kit between sessions. Players are asked to bring their own water bottles.
New players of all abilities welcome, but new players should register their interest and ‘book on to’ a slot. New players can email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Everything is now in place for the resumption of training for all our junior teams. However, the final decision on when to restart is being left to the individual team managers. When they feel its right for you to resume they will be in touch with further information. There are very strict guidelines to follow and each individual team plan will take some working out.
