Following last weekend’s disappointing performance in the County Cup, Town were looking to make amends as they travelled to the impressive Beversbrook sports facility in Calne to face Chippenham Town Development in uhlsport Hellenic Division Two West.
The league campaign finally kicked on Friday night as the ‘A420 Derby’ with Shrivenham Development saw Town overcome a youthful home side in Uhlsport Hellenic Division Two West.
Town’s first competitive Uhlsport Hellenic League fixture of the season, saw Premier Division side Brimscombe & Thrupp the visitors to Tucker Park in the Bluefin Sport Challenge Cup on Saturday.
Monday Night football was back at Tucker Park this week, as Town took on Cricklade Town from the Wiltshire Senior League in the Quarter Final of the Faringdon Thursday Memorial Cup Competition.
Town were back in action on Tuesday evening, as the new management team and squad welcomed Clanfield (85) FC to Tucker Park in the opening round of the Faringdon Thursday Memorial Cup Competition.
Town welcomed Horspath FC from the Oxfordshire Senior League to Tucker Park on Saturday for the next instalment of their pre-season campaign.
