After the disappointment of last weekends league defeat at Fairford Town Development, Town were back in cup action on Saturday, with local side Letcombe FC the visitors to Tucker Park in the Chairmans Challenge Cup second round.
Faringdon Town made the nine-mile journey to Alfredian Park on Tuesday evening for their latest uhlsport Hellenic League Division Two West fixture. With both sides in the higher reaches of the table, it was always going to be a tight affair and so it turned out to be.
Town welcomed Clanfield (85) FC who had travelled the 4 miles up the Radcot Road to Tucker Park, to see who would go through to the third round of the Challenge Cup.
Town were back in uhlsport Hellenic Division Two West action on Saturday, with near neighbours Clanfield (85) Development the visitors to Tucker Park. Town sat 4th prior to kick-off, looking to build on their last two league and cup wins, whilst the visitors had claimed a single point from three league fixtures.
Town made the same journey as last weekend to Beversbrook Sports, against the same opposition but in the 1st Round of the Supplementary Cup this week.
