Josh Dawson made a fantastic one-handed save to his left in the final seconds of the first half to keep Faringdon U11′s 0-0 at half-time with Summertown Stars. Having already missed a number of good chances themselves this proved the lift the boys needed as they came out in the second half, continued to play their football and were finally rewarded with two excellent strikes from the edge of the box by Dominic Allum to win 2-0. Other notable perfromances came from Tommy Tew who ran tirelessly up front, Patrick Mullen in midfield and Samual Adcock and Mac goves who were rocks at the back. This leaves the team still in with a chance of a top 2 finish.

Hard fought victory for the under 13′s
A well fought match which ultimately became the game of two halves!
Under 13′s start new year with a good three points.
The first game of 2012 was a slow starter and it took twenty minutes for the boys to run off the turkey
and Christmas pudding.

An away trip to table topping and unbeaten Cholsey
would seem to be a daunting proposition for FTFC, especially with just the bear
eleven players (and only ten for the first 15 minutes!),

FTFC travelled to Kidlington looking to secure the double over the Colts and were gifted an early
lead when Dan Jacob slotted home following a defensive slip.
20-11-2011 OMBL U13 D League, Radley Youth 5 – 2 Faringdon
FTFC travelled to B League Radley Youth looking for a giant killing in the 2nd round of the Under 13 Cup.
13-11-2011 OMBL U13 D League, Faringdon 6 – 4 Summertown Athletic
Remembrance Sunday and the silence before the match was impeccably observed by all the boys, however the match was a far from a quiet affair with ten goals in total and endless chances at both ends of the pitch.

A very bright but cold November morning and FTFC got off to a
flying start with a goal from Dan Jacobs following good work from Benji
Procter.

A mix up made Faringdon arrive at Barton two hours early for this match. The email informing the management of the kick off time having not been forwarded, I don’t know, you just can’t get the staff!!!
