Faringdon Town football club are delighted to announce that on Friday night 25th of November 2011 a 30 year lease was signed ensuring their future at Tuckers Park.
The signing was attended by approximately 25 members and partners from Faringdon Town F.C. and the Tuckers Park trust.
The club have been in negotiations with the Tuckers Park trust committee over two years to try and secure this historic new lease. Previously the club had a seven year rolling lease. The club wanted to make much needed major improvements both on and off the field these improvements would require major investment and to apply for funding a longer lease was required. With this now secured the next stage is to produce a five year business plan. The committee are working hard to have this plan in place and publicised by January 2012.
The club would like to publicly thank the Tuckers Park trust committee for all their support in securing this lease and hope that they will be as supportive of our future plans.

The 1st Team gained revenge over Saxton Rovers in NBFL Division1, with a hard fought 3-2 win. Louis Bouwers, Matthew Pill and Ryan Sharps scored the vital goals.

The Don face table toppers Saxton Rovers who dished out a 7-1 thrashing in their early season encounter. Training will now take place at the RMCS Watchfield on Tuesday evenings, using their excellent AstroTurf floodlit area. Those wishing to attend, need to ensure they have photographic I.D (passport or drivers licence).
