Town made the short trip down the A420 to local rivals Shrivenham. After recent results, Town were confident and keen to bring home the 3 points.

After 12 months of unbeaten Uhlsport Hellenic Veterans League football, the Town Vets run was ended with a 2-0 away defeat to Chinnor FC A Vets.
After the positive performance, the previous week Town were looking to carry it on. The first 5 minutes Town played some good stuff, finding red shirts and looking up for it. A chance early on for Elliott Day from a fine ball from captain Matthew Pill, it went just wide. With Town creating the early pressure we were then caught out.
To raise funds to for our Youth Teams we are holding a Bingo Night on Friday 21st September at the clubhouse 7.30pm start. All Welcome, members, non-members, parents & children. There will be prizes and the last game will have a CASH prize!!!
The Vets are back in action tonight, making the long journey along the A420, around the Oxford ring road and junction 6 of the M40 to face Chinnor A Vets in the Uhlsport Hellenic Veterans Premier Division.
